Made in Egypt

Air filters manufactured in Egypt, engineered for Egypt's air.

Pre-filters, pocket filters, fine filters and HEPA for air-handling units, clean rooms and industrial ventilation. Built to size in our factory in Egypt and backed by HVAC engineering since 1979.

Gabtic filtration stages, pre-filter, pocket, fine and HEPA, with dust thinning at each stage until the air leaves clean

Gabtic at a glance

Gabtic Engineering & Supplies is an Egyptian manufacturer of HVAC air filters and a supplier of pumping, heating and filtration systems, founded in Cairo in 1979. Its own GAB filter range covers every stage of air handling, from washable pre-filters to final-stage HEPA. The range is made in Egypt and supplied to hospitals, hotels, data centres, factories and landmark projects across Egypt, including the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Why local

Why a locally made filter is the better specification

  • Any size, not just catalogue sizes.

Older AHUs and imported units often use frame sizes you can't buy off the shelf. We build to your exact dimensions and depth.

  • No waiting on an import.

Filters are made locally, so a hospital or data centre isn't left waiting on a shipment to keep running.

  • Priced in Egyptian pounds.

No currency exposure on a product you replace several times a year.

  • Designed for local conditions.

Heavy dust loads and long cooling seasons shorten filter life. We choose the media, pleat density and frame for how Egyptian buildings actually operate.

  • One partner for the whole system.

The same team that makes your filters also supplies and services the pumps, boilers and air-handling equipment around them.

The process

How our filters are made

  1. Media selection

Synthetic, glass-fibre, metallic and activated-carbon media, chosen for the efficiency class and dust-holding capacity you need.

  2. Frame fabrication

Frames cut to your exact dimensions, including rigid galvanized-steel frames for the GI range.

  3. Pleating, pocket forming and assembly

Media is pleated or formed into pockets and assembled into the frame for the specified stage.

  4. Sealing and gasketing

A leak-free seal between media and frame, which matters most at the HEPA stage.

  5. Inspection

Every batch is inspected under our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system before it leaves the factory.

  6. Labelling and dispatch

Every filter carries its class, size and batch number, so you can trace it back to production.

Quality

Quality you can audit

  • ISO 9001:2015 certified since 2018, with filter manufacturing in scope
  • Test reports and data sheets available for every GAB product on request
  • Factory visits welcome for consultants and procurement teams

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does Gabtic manufacture air filters in Egypt?

Yes. Gabtic manufactures its GAB range of HVAC air filters in Egypt. The range covers pre-filters, pocket filters, fine filters and HEPA.

Can you make filters in non-standard sizes?

Yes. Custom dimensions are a core part of what we do, especially for older or imported air-handling units.

How often should central AC filters be changed?

It depends on the stage and the dust load. As a rule of thumb, check pre-filters monthly. Pocket and HEPA filters are changed based on pressure drop, not on a calendar. We can set a replacement schedule for your building.

What is the difference between G4, F7 and HEPA filters?

They are progressively finer stages. G4 catches coarse dust. F7–F9 captures fine particles. HEPA (H13/H14) captures at least 99.95% of the most penetrating particle size and is used in clean rooms and hospitals.

Do you supply hospitals and pharmaceutical facilities?

Yes. Our fine and HEPA ranges are used in clean rooms, operating theatres and pharmaceutical production.
