Flow with confidence
Booster sets, fire pumps and HVAC pumps, engineered for the building, not just delivered.
We size, supply, install, commission and service complete pumping systems for towers, hotels, hospitals, compounds and industrial plants across Egypt. It's the same work we've done since 1979, when our first site technician learned pumps on the Nile barges.

Gabtic at a glance
Gabtic Engineering & Supplies is an Egyptian engineering company, founded in Cairo in 1979, that supplies, installs and services booster pump sets, fire pump packages and HVAC circulation pumps. It is an authorised partner of Armstrong Fluid Technology and Sulzer. It keeps pumps and spare parts in stock in Egypt, and runs a 24/7 service team for buildings where water or cooling can't stop.
Armstrong
Booster pump sets for buildings and compounds
A booster set keeps water pressure steady on every floor, from the ground-floor kitchen to the top-floor shower, at any time of day. We supply packaged Armstrong booster sets with:
- Two or more pumps on a common base, in duty, assist and standby configurations
- Variable-speed drives on each pump, so pressure stays constant while energy use follows demand
- A pressure transducer, a pressure vessel, and a control panel that alternates the pumps and alarms on faults
- Stainless-steel headers and isolation valves, pre-assembled and tested in Egypt
Used in: residential towers and compounds, hotels and resorts, hospitals, malls, office buildings, and industrial process water.

Armstrong UL/FM
Fire pump packages (UL/FM, NFPA 20)
Fire pumps have exactly one job: deliver design pressure the moment a sprinkler opens. We supply complete fire pump packages built to NFPA 20:
- An electric main pump, a diesel standby pump and a jockey pump
- UL-listed and FM-approved Armstrong fire pumps and controllers
- Help with the paperwork and testing required for civil defence approval (الحماية المدنية)

Armstrong Design Envelope
HVAC and chilled-water pumps
Circulation pumps for chilled-water and hot-water loops, from a single building up to district cooling:
- Armstrong Design Envelope vertical in-line, horizontal end-suction and split-case pumps
- Variable-speed, sensorless control, which saves energy on part-load days (most of the year)
- Primary, secondary and condenser water duties
This is the same capability that delivered pumping for one of Africa's largest district cooling plants, at 60,000 tons of cooling.

- ArmstrongIPC and IPS pump controllers for energy optimisation
- ArmstrongAir separators, expansion tanks and pressurisation units
Why Gabtic
Why buy pumps from Gabtic
Sized correctly
We calculate flow and head from your drawings before we quote, not after. Oversized pumps waste energy, and undersized pumps mean complaints from the top floor.
Parts in stock in Egypt
We've kept a warehouse of pumps, motors, seals and parts since 1986, so a failed pump doesn't wait on a three-month import.
One team from quote to commissioning
Supply, installation, start-up and handover documentation all come from the same people.
24/7 service
Emergency response plus planned maintenance contracts for booster, fire and HVAC pump rooms.
ISO 9001:2015 certified
Certified since 2018.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is a booster pump set?
It's a package of two or more pumps with a controller and pressure vessel. It raises and holds water pressure in a building, switching pumps on and off and changing their speed to match demand.
How do I size a booster pump for a building?
Flow comes from the number and type of fixtures, adjusted for how many are likely to run at the same time. Head is the building's height, plus pipe losses, plus the pressure needed at the highest fixture. As a rough guide, allow about 3 m of head per floor, before losses. Send us the drawings and we'll size it properly.
What's the difference between a booster pump and a fire pump?
A booster pump serves everyday domestic water and runs continuously at variable speed. A fire pump is a dedicated, code-listed system that stays on standby and only runs in an emergency or during testing. The two must not be combined.
Do fire pumps in Egypt need UL/FM approval?
Most consultants and civil defence reviews in Egypt expect fire pumps and controllers to be UL-listed and/or FM-approved and installed to NFPA 20. Check the project specification. We supply compliant packages.
Do you service pumps you didn't supply?
Yes. Our service team maintains and repairs booster, fire and HVAC pumps whoever supplied them.
How fast can you deliver?
Stocked models ship from our warehouse in Egypt. Engineered packages depend on the specification. Ask us for the current lead time on your model.
